]]> The act of being totally absorbed, relinquish of self
It is said. The definition of having fun.
This it is not

Thinking of the beloved at every act, ablutions…standing, roaming….
It is said. The definition of obsession.
This it is not

Vying for affection and response, grinding, relentless, restless
It is said. The definition of neediness.
This it is not

Waiting and wanting at the expense of presence
It is said. The definition of lust.
This it is not

What Love Is

The act of being peripheral, whole yet assimilated
It is said. The definition of acceptance
This is love

Thinking of the beloved in the moment of surrender
It is said. The definition of selflessness
This is love

Seeing natural beauty where it lives and sometimes hides
It is said. The definition of seeing the perfect in Imperfection
This is love

Knowing that if love is given freely not expecting return
It is said. The definition of fulfillment
This is love
